Advantages of WordPress Websites

Advantages of WordPress Websites

By Terence Fisher

Buying A Website What do you need more than a website? A high Google Ranking! More people than ever are starting their own online business today, and one thing they all have in common is they need an online presence, preferably on Page 1 of Google.

The best advantage is an affordable WordPress website to help people find you, and the services or products you offer. You may even want to have several websites, each focused on different product lines or services. The easiest and best way to do this is by buying a WordPress website.

Affordable websites – at under $500 – fit anyone’s budget and are extremely easy to maintain. There are many advantages to having these websites, but here are seven advantages that will show you their best benefits.

1. Google and Other Search Engines Love WordPress

One of the main advantages of websites built on the WordPress platform is that search engines love blogs! Why? Because most blogs have content that is updated frequently. Fresh content is what keeps the search engines – and clients – coming back to your site, over and over again. A good web designer should give you a top 20 Google spot and maybe even Page 1 of Google with a highly affordable WordPress website.

2. Free Plugins

WordPress has many free plugins that can be loaded on to your site that can improve SEO (Search Engine Optimization), help reduce spam, and more – including translating your website into other languages. This free “customization” is another reason to check out affordable WordPress websites.

3. Professional Looking Themes

Although you can buy themes, there are thousands of free themes available to you when buying a WordPress blog. However, the top website designers will usually have two price levels, one for a free theme and one for a premium theme that can feature you or your products in the header. With prices under $500 (current 2011) affordable WordPress websites are a great way to get an online presence.

4. No HMTL Necessary

A major advantages of WordPress blogs is that learning HTML programming is not required. The WordPress control panel looks like a Word document, with easy to use buttons for bolding and color changing. However, if you know HTML, that option is there to use. In fact, it is good way to learn HTML – create your article in WYSIWYG and then look at the underlying HTML and you soon pick up the basics.

5. Domain Selection

With many free type blogs or websites the name you select for your site will have the company’s domain tacked onto the end of it. This does not look very business like. By buying WordPress blogs you can purchase your own domain name and have complete control of your site. The also has massive SEO advantages if your domain name features your business function.

6. Free Advertising In Blog Directories

Once you start using these websites you can submit them to online blog directories. Most of them are absolutely free and will boost your business and bring extra traffic to your site.

7. Customer Feedback

Blogs have a feature you can use called “comments”. This allows you to interact with visitors to your site. This can be used to share with your visitors, and it lets them know there is a real trustworthy human being behind the website.

These are just seven advantages of WordPress blogs and you will find more of them as you build your business. So start your business off right by buying WordPress websites and build your online business with less hassle and stress. Spend your time spending the money you make, not making the website!

Buying A Website: 7 Critical Factors That Make or Break Your Business

Buying A Website As an Expert Author on Ezine Articles, I can also add excellent articles to support any website I build for you.  Here is an example on Buying a Website – I can research and write on just about any topic.

Buying A Website: 7 Critical Factors That Make or Break Your Business

By Terence Fisher

Buying a website, whether business, personal or for your hobby, can be a whole new experience to a person who does not yet have a web presence. Searches on Google can give you confusing results, ending in frustration. So you might be wondering, what’s the ultimate way to buy affordable websites.

Here are 7 critical factors to be considered before buying a website, and there is a hard way and an easy way to cover most of these.

1. Getting a Domain Name

When you buy a website, the first task is registering the correct domain name. A domain name should be chosen very carefully, and we recommend leaving it to the experts – your domain name can make or break your business. It should be precise and relevant to the subject matter of your business/profession/hobby.

Secondly, it is always better to choose a short domain name, because it is easy to remember. Despite the assertion that all the good domain names have gone, a good local web design company has special tools and techniques that can result in a pleasant surprise.

2. Web Hosting Provider Selection

You should look for well-established, reliable web hosting providers when considering buying a website. The server should be fast and backed up by mirror servers. When a server hosts your website, there may be occasional times when there is excessive load or traffic that ultimately results in non-availability of your website. A mirror server acts as a standby and immediately transmits your web content when needed. Again, any local web design company will already have expertise in this area, saving you hours of research when buying affordable websites. If you let your local web design company handle web hosting for you, then you save on set up time and costs, and the technical aspects of web hosting are not your problem.

3. Website Design

The next important factor to consider before buying a website is that of web design. The website should be designed in such a manner so that its main message is clear to the visitor. A poorly designed website turns customers away – the exact opposite of what you are trying to achieve. A basic decision is the platform – WordPress, conventional HTML site, Joomla, etc. Most modern local web design companies go for WordPress these days, a great route to affordable websites that do not break the budget but look terrific.

4. Easy Navigation

A website should have easy navigation, including a site map to cover every piece of information on the site. The old business adage of “Make it easy for your customers to do business with you” is very relevant when you buy a website.

5. Colors and graphics

Likewise, the website should be easy on the eye. A “hard” colored website is often abrasive and causes clients to click away. Moreover, the graphics should be optimized to appear faster on the screen; otherwise the visitor may leave the webpage, even before it gets fully loaded. Respect your visitor’s time when you buy a website and look for affordable websites that are graphically optimized. In particular, avoid Flash websites. Websites that use flash technology are always slower to load, and have more to do with satisfying your website designers ego than satisfying your clients needs.

6. SEO Optimization and Integrated Website Marketing

Before deciding on buying a website, look for SEO optimization plus integrated website marketing. Bit of a mouthful; SEO optimization is simply technical stuff necessary to get good Google Rankings, and best left to your local web design company.

Integrated Website Marketing is adding YouTube videos to your website, creating supportive articles like this one, social bookmarking / networking etc. This should be part of any local web design package.

There are few things sadder than a website that is nicely built, looks good – but with no traffic coming to it. The easy solution lies in SEO and integrated website marketing, where the marketing aspect of your web presence is integrated within the web design package you buy; without proper marketing, the best looking website may prove to be a dead investment.

7. Considering Quality Vs Affordability

Finally, think of balancing quality vs. affordability before deciding to buy a website. If you focus only on the quality aspects of a website, you may have to invest thousands of dollars. On the contrary, a great looking website does not need to be a cheap website.

So look for that rare combination of quality plus affordability when buying a website. Affordable websites that look great are available at: http://www.BestCheapWebsites.com

Here you can buy affordable websites that look fabulous for just $495 (current 2011) with a Top 20 Google spot guaranteed, plus a Youtube video. Even better, all the technical stuff is handled for you – a great domain name is found for you, linked to your web hosting on your behalf, even the Youtube video is uploaded for you – leaving you free to concentrate on your business. So, if a cheap website that looks like a million dollars and has everything handled for you is what you are looking for, check out Best Cheap Websites now.

Renting A Website or Buying A Website – Which Is Better?

Renting A Website or Buying A Website – Which Is Better?

What works best – Renting a Website or Buying a Website? The online world is changing dramatically, with website rentals now available at as little as a $1 a day, and buying a website now below $500 (current 2011)!

Many people want to have their own online business today, and people with brick and mortar businesses need to increase their sales by getting an online presence. When planning any business venture you must take into consideration what type of business you want, and how much money you have to get there. Your finances will probably determine whether you go for a website rental or buying a website outright. A third option, of course, is a DIY website.

With today’s technology it is easier than ever to get started. There are options available today that make owning a website easy for anyone. Most people start out buying websites, but renting websites is becoming a popular alternative. Depending on your expertise, there are affordable websites that can be obtained either way.

Buying a website, or a website rental, could be a better option than a DIY website if you are not computer smart. While there are many DIY website editors available that do not require HTML programming, there is usually a learning curve that bites into your valuable time. However, getting the site built is only the beginning. Next you must consider how to market your site, and if you have the time to keep up the maintenance on the site.

Regardless of whether you are thinking about buying websites or renting websites, you can save heaps of time, and get a better result, by letting web designers build your site, while you concentrate on your business. Just choosing the correct domain name can make a big difference in how people find your website. Again, this is an area where good web design companies have specialist tools and expertise that the DIY website builder just does not have.

If you feel buying websites may be a little over your head financially, then consider website rentals. Website rentals are extremely affordable websites and leave most of the headaches to the webmaster.

People say if you rent a website it is very similar to renting a car. It spreads out the payments, and the risk. When you rent a website be sure that the company handles the web hosting, search engine optimization, domain registration, and maintenance. And remember that by using website rentals, you do have some great tax advantages at year-end.

When buying a website you will not have any ongoing fees to consider other than the annual renewal of your domain name, and the fee for your hosting company. But, unless you are using the help of a good web design company, you may be on your own publishing and marketing your site. Check exactly what is included in the price – even the most affordable web design company should offer good Google rankings; make sure yours does.

One of the sad facts of life is that any website not in Google’s top 30 results is a waste of time and money. Whether you decide to buy a website or go for a website rental, make sure Google results are guaranteed. Even better, with YouTube now such a major player, ask for a Page 1 YouTube video too.

Website rentals are a little different to an outright purchase. Some companies may make you sign a contract, but most let you just work on a month to month basis, and you can dissolve your website and relationship with no cost to you whatsoever – this is an important point to check on before you sign!

Going into business for yourself is a wonderful experience and something that should make you feel excited about the future. Whether you use website rentals or just buy a website, remember that affordable websites are available in every niche possible, so start your business today, and reach the world! If you are a bricks and mortar business, good exposure on Google and YouTube can triple the number of people seeing your business. For some bricks and mortar businesses, buying a website – or simply renting a website – can open up national or even global sales, massively expanding the scale of your business. A good example is jewelry, which can easily be shipped worldwide and totally transform a local business.

For more details and insights on buying a website, check out www.BestCheapWebsites.com. If your finances suggest renting a website, there is a ton of info at www.RentingaWebsite.com. Both of these offer Top 20 Google Rankings and a YouTube video. Even better, both do it all for you, sparing you the technical details and freeing up your time to work in your business.

Build a hobby website

If you are looking to build a hobby website, here is an interesting story …

“Would you mind reading these for me, and giving me your opinion?”

Inwardly, I shuddered; everyone is a writer – right!  But, she was a good friend, and I figured I had better read them in case she asked questions later.

I learned two things that day – That Sox was a brilliant and talented writer, and that I should not jump to hasty conclusions.

“How long have you been sitting on these?”  I asked.  “About twenty years” came the reply.  So much talent, so little sharing.

Of course, if you wanted to build a hobby website twenty years ago, it was a problem.

Best Cheap Website - Hobby Site

Not today.

” How much would it cost to build a hobby website?” she asked.

“About 495″ I replied.  “I can’t afford $4,950!”  “No, $495.” Stunned silence.

“You can build a hobby website for me for $495?” On reflection, I had to admit that things had changed a lot in the last few years.  Even as little as 3 years ago, $4,950 might have been the going rate.

Today, the price of realizing your dream really is down to $495.

So we did build a hobby website and Sox now has her books online. Yes, that is a screen shot of her website above.  And yes, you can read free samples of her work – children’s self esteem books – at www.selfesteembooksforchildren.com

Writing Children’s Self Esteem Books may not be your passion. But, do you have a passion you want to share with the world?  Or a Cause you want to publicize?

Cos we can build a hobby website for you too.

Maybe it is a Local Cause you want to draw attention too?  At just $495, publicizing it on the Internet is now a real option.

We can build websites other than those for small businesses.  Dragonflies and purples were a problem for me initially – But I am learning to grow :-)
